What do you want them for exactly?
If it is just to combat lonlieness I can tell you that it just doesn't work that way. Lonlieness is an inner thing that chips away at you and gnaws away at you and unmiraculously theres not a damned thing you can do about it. I'm in a relationship and Im lonely at times. I just think lonlieness is a symptom of depression

oh i did not want it to sound like i want a sex thing, though that would be nice. i was thinking more like, someone to do things with, talk to, be with, sit with, shop, walk, visit musuims, cry with, and hug and kiss would be very nice.

Are there any autism meet ups or other meet ups you could attend, based on personal interests? Also it's sometimes easier to get to know someone online first... I met a lot of friends (including my boyfriend) through LiveJournal. I also have autism, by the way. I hope you find the right girl!

Have you considered getting a pet? They in no way replace human relationships but pet companions can be a lot of help for loneliness. Pets are generally more friendly and less judgmental than people too.
Perhaps you could go out with a group for singles if there is one in your area. I did that and I didn't find Mr Right but I did enjoy the conversation. The group in my area has dances once a month but I don't know how to dance so I just went out with the group to a restaurant to eat. Being with the group you don't have to worry about carrying the conversation and you get to meet a number of people in a short time.

I also think that by attending support social groups that can relate to your own health needs can help you meet other people. Have you ever thought about going to see a therapist to help you work through the social phobia that you had mentioned? Are there any clubs that shares the same hobbies like yours that you can join? Hang in there and keep reaching out to people and soon that time will come for you. Take your time because you don't want to rush and meet the wrong people.
