I can't believe I did that....but I'm so pissed at people keep parking at my spot....I'm paying so much for my apartment and then people are parking at my spot....I could have called the Tow company but I didn't....I put a note for the guy to not park at my parking spot....and I called the security...but WTF they don't do anything....I told them they should put a sign on our parking spot that they are not visitor parking....I just don't get it...why they don't do that? after charging us a tremendous money for a small apartment!!!!
sorry for ranting....I really needed to tell somebody....I think if I was not alone, I would have taken it better.....not sure really....

Marjan, did you vandalize the car parked in your spot, is that what you're saying?

I remember parking in the City, having to scramble for places and getting frustrated like that. My apartment building had a parking garage that was "extra" but at least you had to have a pass to get in.

Is it the same car that keeps parking there? Maybe somebody doesn't understand or is new and has the wrong slot, etc. Are the spaces numbered or anything? I'd write the owners/real estate agency that runs the building at their business address and complain, tell them you'll take legal action (pay less rent) if they don't put up signs of some sort/enforce better.

well not that much really.....a small scratch, but I hope it goes away....ya...I was so angry and that is not forgivable at all....
I went to the apartment managment today....the manager told me they have so much issues and problems with the parking....right now they are audting the parking and they want to notify everybody that they will tow their cars if it's not a registered car.....I suggested them to put some signs on our parking spots specially the ones that are close to the visitor parking saying that these are residentioal parking spots....hope they take care of it!
still I'm not happy of the quick anger I had last night

marjan, do you have the tow company's phone number? if so, use it!
sounds like you all need to get vocal as a group-the residents-to get this ironed out with prop.mgt. i know it must be frustrating. do your spaces have apt. numbers painted on the spaces? that doesn't always work but it may be a deterent. also a monthly newsletter to advise other tenants to advise their guests where to park?
unfortunately ppl will be ppl and many are not caring about being considerate and others just don't notice things unless it's pretty obvious.
hope you all can get this resolved, but i think as a group your voice may be heard more clearly.
oops..also try to restrain from anymore keying...

I told the building manager....she said she's new here and she said the parking is a total mess....she was aware of it....I said why don't you guys put a sign there....I will call her again tomorrow....this is like every single night....and it's too much...I even put a sign for my own parking, but still they parked there....I think tomorrow I will make a bigger sign....they just don't care....I have a towing number....but I can call the tow company and then the guy comes and leaves....so, I don't want to end up paying for the tow....or I'm afraid to create tension and they vandalize my car next day....but I definitly call the management again and tell them.....
I need an action soon....

i have similar issue. visitors have specified area and one car per apt allowed in front of building. people here park anywhere they can find even places that arent parking spots

This is so frustrating. I have always been very particular to park in visitor parking or park on the street if there were no available places to park. I would expect someone else to do the same.

In commercial parking places here they have resorted to putting lockable folding posts up so that if they don't have the key for that post they can't fold it down and they can't park there. But most apartments have private garages.

Lets hope it does make a difference. At least if you call a tow the management have to pay for it because they put the sign up.

I hope the selfish people get the message
