how do you get over a friend who you actually depended on and who knew more about you then any other person. Someone who actually knew your innermost thoughts. Im having such a hard time believing the friendship is over and letting go.

Hello, lucky137621. Sorry this happened. Perhaps you will find you are stronger and more independent than you thought?

I feel your pain Lucky..I try to keep myself so busy that I cant even think...I sometimes overdo it and spread myself too thin...that Im overwhelmed.. but.. It's still better then having the time to think and cry. I guess the saying "Time heals all wounds" is true.. we'll find out.

I knew in the back of my mind that I should never divulge this type of information. He would say things like "its worth the risk" and "im always here for you" and you can trust me. I tried to end the friendship twice and he would always talk me back. I would also say that I am an absolute strong person my whole life and never thought I'd find myself seeeking this sort of emoptional help over some friend. I know ill get through it and I appreciate all the support. Have a wonderful Day!
