I've been dating my g/f for a little over a year. I've caught her in a few lies in the past and now i'm having a hard time trusting her. I ask her something about a situation the other day and I feel that she is lying about this too. My gut feeling is telling me that she is lying again. What should I do?

Hi - The way I see it is you can't have ANY kind of a relationship if you can't trust the other person. If she's lying all the time, she's obviously got something to hide - either that or she's a compulsive liar, and who needs THAT?? Life is hard enough already without having to deal with someone who lies all the time. Perhaps she has a "problem" and needs help - you might suggest she get counseling, but I would NOT stay in a relationship with this person until she got herself straightened around. Besides, she's probably going to deny ever lying to you anyway.

Like I said, life is hard enough - find someone that you can trust and not have to worry if she's telling you "stories" all the time. There are plenty of trustworthy people out there. Best of luck and God bless. Hugs, Lee

Thanks for this!
