I am needing a little advice in how I should go about letting my husband knows that I am wanting to go over to his brothers house with him this Saturday and yet I am feeling very anxious and over sensitive to the thought at the same time.... due to my Anxiety / Phobia of not being able to control the TV - what they might watch while we are there, therefore, what I (and him) will see along with them..... hence the DEATH wish that will follow if there are beautiful slender sexy females on the show or DVD (naked or half dressed) - and there will be for this America, home of the lustful entertainment world.

Please keep in mind that while my husband knows of my disorder (phobia) to an extent he does not know the fullness of how it effects me and controls my actions and thoughts.... nor of the constant DEATH that follows the eyes and what it sees.

Thanks...
LoVe,
Rhapsody -

Rhapsody. tell your husband the extent of your phobia. If he doesn't know he can't help right? And tell him you would really like to go with him and your concerns. If he loves you he will have some control over what happens at his brothers

Thanks Bepop -

I am trying.... I did come close to telling him last night but did not for whatever reason.... I started taking about different kinds of phobias and how they effect people and control them.... he said he did not understand how that happens, for it never has happened to him, but that he could see it as a real problem for the person who has it.... I just answered Yeah - and that I have my own phobias to worry about.

Guess I am just trying to break the ice.... slowly & gently.
