I would like to hear what people think about my current situation. I joined a website to find a pen pal. As soon as my ad went on I was contacted by guy in the US. We immediately hit it off and didn;t stop e-mailing each other for 3 days, we told each other deep and light thoughts, shares our families histories, problems in our lives, hobbies, likes, dislikes. It was fantastic, it was fast, furious, exhilirating, exciting. We exchanged photos, he was very hansom, had a great sense of humour, was very intelligent, told me what company he worked for. But, on the fourth day, he just stopped replying, I have e-mailed him to ask him why, but he hasn;t cme back. He is due over to the UK in a few weeks and we had planned to meet. I feel as if I opened my heart to only get it broken. Unless he e-mails me back I have no way of even knowing whether he has read my e-mails since then or what he feels. I cant figure him out. I feel really lonely without him.

I would wait a bit before despairing; like you say you were writing fast, furious and constantly. If something happened to his computer/phone/electronics or he had another emergency of some sort he may not be able to communicate right now.
