i am so confused. i went on a date a few days ago and it was really nice, except he said some off hand comments that left me feeling really confused, empty and insecure. i should also note he has been in an on and off relationship with some lame chick who doesn't have anything going for her, for 4-5 years.
he said the following things on our date: (1) mentioned his "ex" and crazy she is "but that he loves her." (2) said he likes blondes ( i am a brunette) (3) periodically mentioned how his roommates "ex" worked with so and so whenever we talked about something in media/fashion. i mean i feel like this date was just protocol bc we had been texting during the summer about getting together. he did say that i'm a smart girl who has her stuff together and we did make out... we havent spoken since our date. part of me doesn't want to have anything to do with him because he is still hung up on that girl even though i know i am a way better catch. am i making the right choice by just closing the door on this guy? i know i deserve someone better. |

Hello, palemoss. The decision is yours to make. It seems you already have.

It doesn't sound that he is emotionally available. Not worth it, IMO.

Yeah, not emotionally available. It that sandwich that has been in the fridge for too long. Just toss it. This type of boy will leave such a bad taste in your mouth. Been there, done that!!!!!
Btw I hope you can find someone more considerate who doesn't talk about other girls on dates. Giving someone your full attention is not just affectionate and kind, it should also be basic date protocol!!! What is this world coming to. |
