As some of you already know I used to write songs but I’ve been having difficulty writing lately so rather than perform one of my own I am going to perform another song I heard for the first time yesterday. The name of the song is ‘Who Needs to Dream’ and it is originally performed by the artist, Barry Manilow. Before anybody starts with the jokes I am not a big fan of his work but I heard this song and I just thought it would be a really great song to perform to my girlfriend. Her name is Mandy and sure I could easily go with the song ‘Mandy’ especially with the line “Oh Mandy you came and you stopped me from shaking” but I like the lyrics of this song more. What do you guys think?

I'd personally hold off on "Mandy" (even though I absolutely love that song. I have a guilty soft spot for Barry Manilow). Never know if she had an ex that used to always sing that to her, or it could just be plain over done for her. One never knows. Going with something that you think fits your relationship is a much better idea than forcing something to be cute.

Thanks. I definitely don't think I will be going with the song Mandy because the rest of the lyrics don't describe our relationship. I will be performing this song though because it is one of Mandy's favourite songs and I have been told by a lot of people I sound like Kevin Mitchell (Bob Evans)
