i'm just kind of wondering about this. i have ocd and have recently met someone i like a lot who is bipolar. we get along well most of the time but our messages seem to get mixed up sometimes, which i've been told isn't uncommon with bipolar, and because his mood fluctuates a lot i can sometimes feel unsure of where i stand. this triggers my ocd and causes me to obsess and overanalyze a lot and get anxious. i wonder if it can work between people with such different disorders. it worries me. (of course, everything worries me. i have ocd and gad. haha.)

I think it can work. Are you both in therapy?
You might need to come up with a way to feel sure of where you stand, no matter what he is doing. Even when his mood is fluctuating, maybe you can find a way to have your own sense of stability continue to grow.
