so i have been dating this guy for the past month and half. when we're together it's good. but i feel so insecure. he strikes me as emotionally unavailable and shallow, but still i have a great time with him and i am trying to keep my emotions in check.
we were intimate two nights ago and i told him about some of my past ex's and what not. not sure how he took that. but he has inquired about my ex twice. weird. anyway, i am very frustrated that he has not texted or called since we were intimate. i mean he did text me to get some sleep right after i left his place. but that was it. i just wish...he were already falling in love with me. anyone else experience this? when you get close to a guy, he pushes you away? |

I'm sorry you feel that way... it sucks. My boyfriend and I have been together for the last year and a half and we have a really bad push-pull relationship. When we started saying I love you, it was a great feeling at first, but it started world war III. He immediately pulled back because he was scared and didn't want to be in love.
We've fought back and forth about every week ever since. He comes home and we get along, he leaves that week and a day or two later, we argue, he comes back, we're good... it's this awful cycle. Actually he's mad at me now (deserved this time... I spent the day with his family for a BBQ and he was gonna come home with me that night, but wanted to smoke a cigar and for some reason they trigger me, so I decided to go home instead and peeled out infront of his house (no one saw it, but heard it) so he had to somehow explain it to his strict, judgmental family and needless to say, I humiliated him) so we may break up... I dunno. I think it's messed that you slept with this guy and he hasn't talked to you since; I hope it wasn't the first time. Relationshits suck... enough said; but you aren't alone, I get it.
