After I felt abandoned by my ex, I have tried everything to feel better and get our of the hole I was in. Since I cannot afford counseling, I found help in books...

For those of you who are in my same situation, I just wanted to share with you guys the name of the book that has helped me get through this, the name is The Journey from Abandonment to Healing by Susan Anderson.

I know some people don't like to read or don't think books are of any help but whenever I find myself desperate, depressed, or lonely, I start reading this book and I feel a lot better. I am still not done with it but I am glad I started reading it... Like the title says it, getting over someone is a real journey and this book has given me guidance of what to do with myself when I am most desperate. I highly recommend it

Thanks for this!

You should! reading that book was one of the best things I have done during this break-up as most of my feelings are addressed... The book understands!! lol

Sorry you are going through a break-up too, I am sure this year will be better for all of us. Good luck in your journey
