I got stood up yesterday. I was going on a "date" (it wasn't really a date we were going as friends) and he took too long couldn't make it because his brother was taking too long. It was time for me to go and i was pissed. This isn't the first time i got stood up. Not to mention he techneclly rejected me for homecoming.I have asked him to palces like 5 times! He always couldn't make it and this time he stood me up. I was crying in the icecream place because i was really embarrased. I also missed my friends birthday part just to get stood up so i also feel dumb. He said he was sorry and was going to make it up to me but come on i don't believe him. I feel embarrased, pathetic, desperate and like an idiot, Any advice?

First tip: don't say no to a friend to say yes to a guy.
He said no five times, maybe he thinks you want more but don't get the hint?

As for advice: don't waste your time on him, you deserve a guy who does show up and asks you out instead of the other way around
Thanks for this!

Hey Hun, another vegan here. My advice, let him go. If he keeps giving you the cold shoulder he's not worth it.

And Shooting Stars is right... don't say yes to a guy to say no to a friend. You know for next time. If a guy is worth it he'll not make you choose.

Don't feel too bad... these things happen, we grow through them, and come out the other end. I'm sure that you'll meet a decent guy soon enough. Hang on there.

You obviously have qualities that intimidate him and he just can't figure out how to handle himself around someone of tour caliber. Take his dissing you as a compliment, hell ya it hurts, but you've obviously got something he envys and he's got to go beneath you to feel good about himself
