My family has always been extremely supportive with my bipolar disorder. My fiancee not so much. Ive been pretty stable since we've been together, only had a few episodes...But when i get pananoid and delusional he gets mad! He doesnt understand. He demands proof of what i am talking about (which i dont always have) its very frustrating. he is wonderful in all ways except for that. he said he'd go to counseling, because he saw how upset it got me. but has he? NOOOOO! I wish he would at least educate himself and be there for me like he's supposed to be. i'm having my doubts. what do you think?

I think you have answered your own question. Our husband's should be a main part of our support system, and he should become educated on BiPolar before you get married. Otherwise you will be setting yourself up for trouble when you get married.
I read a lot of posts where husband's get mad like this, and there are kids involved, and it is a mess. Take care of it before you get married. Good luck.

your health has it's own ups and downs, and now you have to deal with your fiancee that won't support you, that's another stress level in your life that you don't need.
i can't tell you what to do with your relationship, but i will tell you to keep working on yourself and don't let your fiancee discourage you.
