I do think you should be honest with him, especially if you are both considering a lasting relationship. I think that if you are considering spending your life with him, you and him both need to be able to be honest with each other and be able to discuss anything and everything. A relationship needs that to last.

I think that love is part of a vital foundation for a strong successful marriage but it takes more than that. Skills and hard work are needed especially if one of both of you have bad habits that need breaking.
