I've been doing great with my depression and feel like I've been in a pretty stable place the past week or 2.

I feel kinda lonely tonight. I have one friend who lives pretty far away, but I don't feel like I can talk with her lately, especially with my relationship concerns.

I am away on a work conference (have been here for 4 days) and am heading back tomorrow night. I think I might be lonely..

thats the great thing about PC.....You are never alone...right now there are 23 people in the chat rooms you could be talking to if you arent there already...i didnt check, so i hope you are...if you arent and you read this, click up above on chat and pick a room, any room, with people in it of course, and chat away, or just lurk, what ever suits you, or go to the games section and play silly games. anything to occupy your time until the lonliness passes.

anyway, hang in there...there is nothing worse then being away from home for days at a time to bring on that lonliness....from what you say, its almost over.........

I feel like that sometimes, too.
I travel a lot for work too, and my schedule is so random, it's not like i can plan on seeing someone when I am in the nearby city they live in, etc.

The guy I'm dating is really busy too and he travels a lot too so it's hard.

Sometimes, I think as adults it's so hard to not think about what others have going on in their life - kids, spouses, job, etc.
It's not like when you're 13 when all you had in your life was school and everyone was basically on a same schedule.

I really don't have any friends
my friends are at PC....
I could always use a friend,
for when you talk with me ever
you'd be strangely surprised.

Hey, your almost home yet being out must be different or no?

Hang in there, Crew

lagurl, i hear ya. It DOES get hard now that we aren't in school and stuff. I never thought I'd be in this position, you know? I feel like I'm pretty outgoing...it shouldn't be this difficult, you know?

Crew - Thx. I actually am on chat now - we'll see. I don't want to get sucked in, in a sense, you know? I am scared that I'll alienate myself and become even more of a loner than I already am. You know? Plus, it's a risk putting yourself out there. I guess I already did it with signing up and posting on the bulletin board...so what's the difference. Right?
