So I had a thing with a girl but it was never fully consumated and I'm worried that it will always be on my mind and I'll end up one of those creepy assholes who, five years down the road, when she COMPLETELY forgets me (as it was a one night thing--but I thought she really liked me), will still hit her up.

Actually, she already forgot me.

I don't think that'll happen. I think either you'll, within the very near future, kindle this into something more than a "one night" thing, such as dating this girl, or you'll move on, and she will too. It's just fresh right now.

Why not talk to her and tell her how you feel? Tell her you'd like more than a one night thing...if she accepts, then great! If she doesn't, I'd tell you you haven't lost much.
