So I think I freaked out one of my few close friends outside of my family. I was texting her and I told her that sometimes I lose touch with reality- trying to explain how I read her text wrong to think she was being sarcastic instead of supportive. No response. So then today I text her, apologizing. I told her I was sorry, I was a bit high when I text that. It’s now past midnight and I still have no response. I was saying some other things, really being open with her and I think it was too much. I feel like punching myself. I’m so confused and angsty right now because I’m trying to relax and not assume the worse. I think she thinks I’m nuts now. Am I?

I would wait a while longer, sometimes it is a day or two before I get to/notice texts. Too, she might be thinking of what she wants to say back so she does not hurt you and is making sure she sounds supportive so you don't mistake it for sarcasm, etc. Can you maybe email, or better yet, call her tomorrow or over the weekend, maybe get an opportunity to go out together for lunch or something?

Yeah, I just wan to post and say that things are . I saw her the other day in passing and she said she had just been busy- she goes to work and takes a class right now. I was relieved and said I thought she would think I was wierd- she in fact said no and that she was just worried about me. I'm glad things are sorted out. I hate all the things I can come up with and twist the reality of situations the longer time goes by without seeing someone. Anyways, things are good now.
