This is kind of cool. I never thought to actually ask someone why I have such trouble in social situations in general but especially trying to find a woman to be in a relationship with. I never have been able to just talk to women. I get the feeling it's because I'm really shy and women kind of steer clear of this, but I could be totally off base. I'm 38 and have never been "in love". Does anyone have some ideas about this?

Well, if you are shy and are kind of "stand-offish" then women may take that as your being uninterested or not attracted to them. That may not be the way you feel at all, but it may appear that way to them.

Perhaps if you can garner up the strength to start a conversation with a woman -- just say anything that comes to mind -- then you may get something started! You never know until you try. You may have to try different approaches, i.e. different "lines" but sooner or later something will click.

Best of luck and keep us posted! Hugs, Lee
Thanks for this!
