Homecoming was last night.

It was fun, except for one thing.

So, I saw Dusty and said hi to him.

I shouldn't have said this, but I asked, "Can I have a hug?"

He said, "No thank you, I'm good." he didn't look at me.

After that I was so mad. When I was gone, I was cussing him out (yeah, because that's what good Christians do. That answer is no.).

Then as I walked by him a couple of times to go to places, he was looking back at me.

That one sign of rejection means that he wants absolutely NOTHING to do with me.

It made me pretty sad for the rest of the night, even though I went to spend the night at a friend's house.

I'm still a bit down from Dusty still. It did not make my day.

I was told that he was probably not ready or that he just doesn't know me.

I say that Dusty doesn't want to get to know me and that he's prepared to full-on reject and ignore me.

Maybe he is just not a huggy, touchy person. Try to get to know him as a friend first and then go from there.

I think you just need to try and get to know him - you'll be able to guage his feelings better by just talking to him and spending time with him. If he seems offstandish and disinterested then no, he probably doesn't want a relationship with you. As the above poster mentioned it could simply be that he doesn't like hugs - you won't know for sure until you become better acquainted with him. All the best.
