I don't want to live with my parents anymore, my mum hates my dad so much that they fight everyday, now my dad just simply appears at home at dawn and mid-night.. My mum tells me that I am a ***** and I don't deserve to live on earth.... I used to be really good at swimming but they forced me to quit and until now I'm not able to return to the pool!!! However, I'm trying to let go of these good times and start allover again but I just can't let go and I can't tolerate my parents too!!!!
Can someone please help me....

Hi watergirl - im sorry to hear of your difficulties but i think some perspective here is important. You won't have to live with your parents forever, presuming you are a minor you will one day have your own responsibilities so despite all the fighting and tension i would try and make the most of still living at home. Being an adult is much harder work. I would maybe sit down with either your mum or dad (preferably both) and explain how the current situation is making you feel. Is this situation affecting your education? If so i would make a point of this too and hopefully they will either start working on their difficulties or at least be mindful to pack it in when you're around. Could you maybe go and live with another family member for awhile? Whatever happens please remember to be patient and kind to your parents - it sounds like they're having a lot of difficulty themselves and have ended up taking out some of that frustration on you. As long as you continue to be a good, hardworking daughter they will at least know they had success in bringing you up. I hope this situation improves for you, communication is the key thing here - if you are hurt by their behaviour you must say so and if nothing changes from there i would contact a school counsellor so that at least you can work through your feelings with someone supportive. They may even be able to talk to your parents and help work towards a solution if this is what you wish. All the best.

Sadly until your financially ready or old enough to move out your kinda stuck. I don't know all the details but maybe one day you can find a roommate and move out?? I do however know that an unhealthy home life can have negative long lasting effects
