Where is it you want to go? What do you need guidance in? Your life??

That's a pretty big order! Without knowing anything about you, or your likes or dislikes, etc. it's too difficult. You've got to supply some info!

if only we could move in a guidance counselor huh.. I once typed in "need a new life" in google search and the advice was pretty impressive. Ultimately you have to guide yourself and think positive.. But thats hard to do in a suck *** situation.. The hardest actually..

Well this very much depends on what you wish to use the internet for. For me its a life line - i do most of my shopping/banking online, i communicate with my partner who is currently living 2 hours away online and i like visiting sites such as these to both receive and offer support. I think most would consider it another communication tool. Hope ive been of some help...

Well this is just from my experiences, but I could be wrong.

Don't be afraid to talk to new people. If you have a facebook, go find friends of friends who you don't know. Don't be afraid to reach out to others. That's what I did this summer, and because I chose to talk to new people, I have started moving in a much more positive direction in my life. I used to havd the same problem, dude... But again, don't be afraid to reach out to new people. If you're like me, and you're socially awkward IRL much like I am, then Facebook is the next best option. That's how I met a few of my exes... And we still talk a lot, but I think that if you just branch out you will be in a much better place.

Sorry if I'm rambling, or if this isn't much help at all, but I wish for the best from you! ^_^

I am happy u r able to easily find a way to improve yourself. Thanks for your honest and open reply. I go on facebook everyday. it is what you say. there is a better place there. it's not real though. I never thought I would be a person who is so self centered that it controls me. I find that if I see it in someone then it is not good for me. I want to be the one who is given attention to not always chasing down eveeryone all the time. if I follow this path it is too bleak and I give up because I'm not fond of being alone all the time when the system needs to control me.
