Secret Admirer - Creepy or Cute?

So I like this guy.. and tomorrow is sweetest day.
He doesnt know me, but I'm sort of friends with one of his friends.
I was thinking i could leave a note on his windshield?
Something simple, like:

Ethan,
Happy Sweetest Day!
,
Your Secret Admirer

Creepy? Or Cute?? & where do i go from there?

Are you going to sign your name or think he'll know its you? I feel its better to give it to him and not be anonymous because then he wouldn't know or might be creeped out. Its a nice gesture - I think sign your name so your gesture doesn't go to waste and good luck.

I would be flattered to find a note like that on my car! Not creepy at all but it would drive me nuts not to know who it was!!!

maybe you could give him a clue as to who it was. or give one of his friends a heads up. that way, if he is intersted in you, he can sort of solve the puzzle or whatever, as to who you are

It would drive me to be insaner than usual! It sounds like a great idea, since you are a girl that is. If a guy did it to a girl, it would likely be seen as stalkerish.

A stalker does not give "secret admirer" notes. You're not obsessed with the guy, just not ready to reveal who you are and testing the waters before breaking the ice. Completely different behavior from a stalker who obsesses over another and watches and follows. Unless you're doing all of those things that's what makes a stalker, completely different thing. Don't worry.

And to the responses that it would drive them nuts not to know who sent a note, it would make me curious but to know someone is attracted to me and took the time to let me know even only if anonymously... that's still flattering. If she kept on doing it and never approached or gave me ways to figure out who she is, I'd go mad at that point but as an initial note, I think it's cute and flattering...

Again, leaving a note isn't stalkerish. A note that says "i'm watching you" is. Of course keep in mind most stalkers would never leave a note at all! They'd just, well... stalk!
