Do you ever feel like you could fall apart because it's like people are driving you to insanity? One of the members on my site is extremely negative in the same way Andy is. He's driving me up a wall with his own flawless negativity. I don't think anything could break into their wall of negativity. It's all boo-hiss...poor me...etc., etc. When it's constant you get sick of it quite quickly.

Andy won't hear anything, won't change his attitude or try seeing things from a different perspective, and won't even try to take advice from anyone. He's constantly throwing my advice, help, and support right back at me. He says he doesn't need to talk to anyone and that he is used to dealing with things on his own. I told him in a relationship there isn't that option...that everything affects everyone...even personal stuff. He went on and on about how he deals with his stuff by himself and walked away. I wanted to tell him he can have this relationship all to himself, too, but kept my mouth shut. God how I wish I didn't keep my mouth shut.

I'm done. I can't do this crappy relationship thing anymore. I know he needs to know...I just need time to think about how I'm gonna end it.

Hi Lexi,
I know exactly how you feel, since my mother is also showing this type of behavior. The only advice i can give you is to leave and surround yourself with people who are optimistic, don't drag you down with them and worthy your time and friendship. Good luck to you.
