In elementary school, I did have a few good friends, then went through a period of no friends, but it got a lot better in highschool. I had a good, decent sized group of friends. The thing is, I lived in a small town. 2 elementary schools (K-7) and 1 highschool (8-12), all with a max of 350 students. So all of the friends I made, I met through other people, and so forth. Then I moved to a huge city after living 1 place my entire life. I didn't know ANYONE, and met a couple people at school, but nothing serious...
I have no idea how to make friends... I have been here a while already, but I still suck... I have a boyfriend, so I am not completely alone. But everyone should have atleast 1 friend. I am not going to school, so I cant meet people there, I do work. But with literally 4 people (I dont see them as being too much as friends after work lol), and everyone who comes in are kids. I dont do anything so I have no idea where to even start
*Sigh*.. I always think maybe my depression would get even better if I met some people, and yet.. I cant.. UGH... :/

you could join some hobby clubs, do some volunteer work or take part in local fundraisers. those are always great ways to meet new folks.
Thanks for this!

I'm thinking I need to work on this as well. So I know for a fact you are not alone in dealing with this! I was looking at meetup.com today and thinking about trying that as a way to get out and get social. Some people join a church, but I'm not into religion so that doesn't work for me, but maybe for you?
