The above link is from pc, it is one of their articles that they posted. I find it true. Quote:
I had first seen it on a little laminated card that was my father's ( he an antitheses by the way ![]() I remember reading it then, and telling my dad it had a lot of good advice- he agreed. I remember even in my drug addiction that i used to break down the prayer of what it meant to me... even after and some times off and on now I still do when struggling with things. Last year with my brother and issues (with him and with in myself)- i don't want to go into it all but the ones that remember may know... but the exact part that the article points out is what I used to help my way through with a lot of pain with my brother. I have used it also with my issues with my mom and so on..... aka -- blanket term of difficult people ![]() Just like with the saying that is spreed through out pc a lot "we can only control ourselves and not others"..... I just thought I would share-- It is nothing new, and not really like a light bulb but I guess in away I am glad to see it on PC...

Yes, this prayer by St. Francis of Assissi (sp) means a lot to me, too. It is a very wise bit of advice as well.

Thanks beauflow! I like that Serenity Prayer and even the twisted version I see posted on FB every so often.
