Am I with the right girl?

How do you know if you've found the one? Aren't we all just looking for someone who confirms our reality the most?

You don't know. Everything is fragile, including partnerships. That's why you gotta gamble to win.

Once you find someone you want to settle with, you put effort in maintaining the relationship and keeping the romance alive.

Honestly, I don't believe there is "the one". There are many "ones". And even those "ones" change over time. Sometimes it takes getting through that initial "in love" stage to realize whether or not the foundation for a good relationship exists. Love at first sight? Naw...lust...a connection perhaps, but not love. Real love and being with the right person is a lifelong determination.

You'd just better HOPE you do, and then you have to WORK at the relationship. You cannot just sit there and think that things will just fall into place. Love is WORK. Relationships are WORK. And it has to come from both sides. If both of you are not willing to WORK on the relationship, it's all for naught.

It doesn't matter if you love each other. If you don't communicate and give and take, you don't have anything.
