so I liked this girl. we go to school together and we are always talking and texting and hanging out. she showed all the signs of liking me. she was always touching making eye contact always smiling at me and around me. BUT I didn't make my move! I was afraid of losing her all together. so I dated this other girl and a few days later that girl broke up with me. but me and the girl I liked were texting last night and she said " if I tell you something do you promise u wont get weirded out ir mad? so I said "I promise" seeing I never judge anyone and she texted back saying "I used to like you...and when u dated liz(the other girl) I got jealous" and when I read that my heart sank because I really really liked this girl. I dated the other girl because I thought their was a cold days chance in hell she liked me back. now im beating myself up over it

if she liked you then she should still like you now, even if you dated another girl...it's not like you grew a second head or something. Did you ask her what changed? Jealousy often leads (esp. in young love) to MORE interest. Have you tried just asking her to do something fun with you, like maybe during a weekend day, so there is not too much pressure on either of you?

Oh I just love it about the second head.

Also agree that jealousy can be a fine motivating factor at times - nothing wrong with that.
