I'm currently dating someone who smokes marijuana and I was wondering if it could affect me if I kiss him after he smokes? Or if he has it on his clothes would I get any THC in me?

to Psych Central Rainbow123,

In my humble opinion, I don't think that the THC would affect you via kisses or clothes, unless he's stick got smoke in his lungs or mouth when you kiss. Or if he were to blow his smoke into your face repeatedly. I'm no professional though.

My bf is also a mj smoker. We've been together for more than 3 years and I haven't ever felt affected by the second-hand smoke. I do turn on the fan & open a window whenever I can, so the smoke doesn't go to me though.

Kissing cannot transfer smoke into your lungs, nor can his clothing transfer marijuana into your system somehow.
My bf's pot smoking has never affected me in anyway.

The only thing I can think of though, is if you are with him often while he smokes you can test false positive for THC should you undergo a drug test for whatever reason. This happened to me once when my group of friends still used to smoke pot.
