lol You piqued my interest...what is a vaporizer? Is it similar to like, say, an ecig? And what's a mango lasso? lol Sounds delicious.

lol That aside, go with your gut Heather. It is possible to smoke marijuana, I believe, and not be a "pothead" per se. Just make sure there's mutual respect and comfort in the situation.

I have to agree with K12573n, I smoke pot now and then and it does help with my depression. As for being addictive, I go months without smoking when it is easily available through a friend. I first smoked over 30 years ago and my use has always been off and on. I also don't believe it leads to other drugs. What might lead to other drugs, IMO, would be peer pressure or addictive personality issues.

mango LASSI is an Indian smoothie made with mangoes. A mango lassi from a THC cafe is that with Marijuana. This site apparently spell-corrects from lassi to lasso because it does not recognize lassi as a valid word, which is understandable because it is new.

A vaporizer is a big expensive device that removes the harmful effects of smoke, somehow, but I am not sure how. I am happy with chocolate or mango lassi.

All debating whether pot is addictive or not or if it leads to other drug use aside, the fact that you asked if your boyfriend's habit was a problem suggests that it is to you. If you accepted it you would have no need to discuss the issue. I suggest you fully examine your feelings and then decide if it is a problem or not.

I agree that alcohol is a worse problem but the fact of the matter remains that alcohol is legal, pot is not. Your boyfriend can end up in jail with a criminal record which will drastically impact his ability to find and hold a good job as well as his reputation in the community. Are you willing to risk that happening? You may end up falling from grace with him.
