I have been watching and reading about a month , hate to sound like a typical male but would like to know after fiancee started meds and such seems like she just want to lay in bed and come up with new reasons why she cant get anything done. She always yells at me we need to get house clean or something done like she is talking to me and not thinking she could help. She is in therapy 2 days a week and seeing a shrink for meds but meds she has been on like 8 mos and nothing seems to get better just worse.I couldd write all down about what has been going thru for years with her altough i know i am by no means perfect, there are more things involved as i said dont want to make it sound like it is all her as it is not, not a big typist sorry.I could type whole scenario out for like hours but getting aggravated again so will type more later this is a 8 year long story so hard to type all in one post.

If someone with BPD is willing to work at improving their condition, things should get better.

Wanting to stay in bed all day, after 8 months on a medication regiment, doesn't sound like the meds are helping. Naturally, meds alone won't help, how long has she been in therapy? Is one of the sessions DBT-based?

Being involved for 8 years, is a long time. Are you, also working with a therapist, to help you learn how to communicate with your BDP fiancée?

Her newest therapy 2hours a week is DBT based therapy.I was in therapy for about 6 months til my insurance stopped covering me for assistant therapy to relate to her condition. I know is a long road for getting therapy and i am trying very hard to understand and take care of kids house and work.Every month when to goes to shrink they change her meds for one thing or another.I know she aint going to learn to deal with it overnight and i am being selfish by saying what about me ,guess i am just venting as always. TY for taking time to comment and listen
