Well, after a few weeks of going back and forth - I just made the decision to move in with my girlfriend last night! We've been talking about this for a little while now, and I originally was NOT going to move in because I was feeling a bit rushed into it but after thinking about it I realized that I would much rather come home every day to a nice, clean, comfortable place, living with someone who cares about me a lot. My other option was to stay in my current apartment with 4 other guys. This would have been alright but the place was always such a mess and I didn't really feel like it was "home."

I'm not entirely sure of my intent with this post other than to ask if any of you folks in happy relationships have any advice or tips on living with a significant other. I'd be lying if I told you that I wasn't nervous - because I am a little bit - but I am also excited to see how this might really benefit our relationship. We have been together for 3 years. This is the first time I'm living with a girl and I feel like I'm overanalyzing this decision quite a bit, but I digress. I feel like I needed to vent this anyhow.

Any discussion or tips are welcome
Thanks for this!

agree with justmemaybe....never take her for granted. If you have a dishwasher, ask her how she wants it to be loaded it (seems silly but us women have our ways of doing that and a little thing like it being loaded incorrectly will eventually grow all out of purportion to temper lol)...toilet seat down (duh lol) ... mostly tho...just don't take her or your living arrangements for granted. Follow that golden rule and I see great things for ya'lls relationship.
Thanks for this!

Congrats ! Only thing I would say is ... Make sure you both agree on all the money issues about living together. What each of you pay and when? Who buys food ? who buys other household supplies... It real is a big issue if not handled right from the start.

Good luck
