Well, I guess this is a good place to ask for help or advice about my relationship issues.
To start it off, me and my best friend decided to date a few months back, we've both had deep feelings for each other for over a year but never pursued them due to the distance between us since I moved to help my grandmother buy a house, we dated and everything was wonderful and then came the point we realized the distance makes it hard to be in a committed relationship. Needless to say her first suggestion was to break up but not see other people, so we both agreed on terms and ended the "committed" part of our partnership mutually. However a month has gone by and I've noticed she seems a little more distant now than we have ever been since we had met, it's starting to worry me yet she says she loves me more than anything and I mean the entire world to her. I really just don't know what to do, when I ask her if something is wrong she usually doesn't reply or changes the subject and if I'm blunt about it we end up not talking for hours on end. She really is my everything, I don't put her on a pedistool or anything but I am very loving to her even when she makes me mad or does something I don't like. I really am clueless on how to go about this situation seeing as I wont be able to physically be around her for at least another 5-6 months, and I REALLY don't want to lose her. I can't seem to go straight into a "friend zone" with her and she is the one that instigated that we stay "lovers" just not dating lovers. Please I really need advice |

Some ideas: if possible, try to lighten up and distract yourself somehow, helpfully, so this isn't on your mind constantly. Plus if she doesn't feel you are "clinging" in anyway, it could be helpful! Sorry for your pain, tho. Been there, actually still there in some ways at a much older age, in a long-term marriage. Also, she may be distracted by other issues, and they may have nothing to do with you, but you also may or may not be able to find out what they are. There are a number of possibilities, and I know it's hard, and I wish you well!
