I don't know why she is still here. We have had plenty of ups and downs because of my BPD. She just recently told me she could not take another relapse in my behavior. She said she doesn't want me to leave but I can't help but wonder. I have made some huge strides but have been depressed lately and really needed her and she drops that on me. Not really what I needed to hear. So needless to say I am really thinking of leaving her. Maybe she would be better without me. I know she loves me, but is that enough?

She is still there because she loves you. You can love someone but not like the behavior. However, it does sound like she is getting close to the end of her rope. She may be having issues of her own that keeps her from being able to be a support person for you right now. I can tell you not to make a decision while you are depressed. Hang in there until your mood lifts before making a major decision.
Also, she may have just had a bad day and needed comfort you weren't able to giver her. I would suggest that the two of you have a talk about it. And maybe even find a couples counselor. Best wishes. ![]()
