It seems many people I start relationships with notice how quiet I am in person, which I know I am, but I like that side of me. What bothers me though is how they never give me time to eventually open up for them which I do when I am given time and meet the right woman. I love conversation, sometimes I can never shut up talking but then I talk so much that annoys them too.
It can be very hard to please people these day's in this regard. People ask you to open up but then when you do, you give too much information or detail, so much so that you scare the person. No wonder people are so closed off when people judge so quick. I see couples now who live in the same house but share different rooms, only seeing each other at meals or when they wish too. They make contact by text message yet they live in the same house. To me that is crazy but they think it helps, but is that really healthy communication? Is it making them progress as a couple. Maybe they are the modern relationships of 2013 and as time and technology progress maybe we won't even talk face to face anytime. Strange times that sure seem to evade me. |
