so I'm coming in from college to visit my home town for the weekend for a music festival. Thing is it's just for a weekend so my time is quite limited. I am just conflicted as to whether I should spend all the time I'm there with my parents and family, or if I should also visit friends. I have met some girls online from okcupid who I have been corresponding with for quite a while now who really want to meet me. I want to meet up with them, but would also feel guilty for not spending all my time with my parents. Like if I spent the night at this girls place instead of being at my actual home... I don't know. It's what I want to do, but I just wouldn't feel right I suppose. any thoughts?

You should do what feels right. There's no right answer. If you rarely make it home for a visit, you should probably visit with your parents...but if you do make it home to visit often...why not have a little fun?

yeah I mean I'm home like every month. And I'll be back for thanksgiving. I mean. I want to have some fun in my home town. Shouldn't I be allowed to spend the night somewhere else? Hopefully I'll think of something...

You may spend the night where you choose. (I am a mother and grandmother and I say, hey, you could even visit your hometown without visiting family now and again if you are home once a month and for major holidays)
