I have ADHD and all I hear day in and day out is, "You can't multitask. You can't do that." and so on.
What can I do then? |

![]() As hard as it is, try to remember that it is up to you to decide what you can and can't do. And you never know until you try. I know a lot of people with ADHD who can multi-task and succeed in a lot of areas. Try not to listen to the people who say you can't do it and listen to the people who build you up. It is possible. Almost anything is possible with time, work and confidence. |

There are resources available, to help you learn ways to live with your disorder. There's classes on time management, which is beneficial to learning how to multitask. Maybe, you'll need to modify for yourself, how to do things; just because you may have to do things differently than others, doesn't mean that you 'can't' do these things. I agree with maze, "Try not to listen to the people who say you can't do it and listen to the people who build you up." |
