Hi Hanks. Sorry i'm late getting back to you. How did your date go? Me and the lady i mentioned are still together , so much so that she's moving in next month and then we can 'GET IT ON'. Don't really know what that means ( i'm so innocent) but i'm sure she'll show me hehe.

UPDATE
Sorry to disappoint you Hanks but the lady moved in....and moved out after 3 weeks. We were pretty compatible but i guess the incompatible bits were just too much. Anyway she has now found someone else so that relationship is pretty much over. The house is a work in progress. Half finished kitchen, bathroom and toilet. The rest needs redecorating. I thought we could have fun doing it together but that didn't work out. I will admit that i need a kick up the backside to get started but if i can see a future then i can do it. She would say that i am just too untidy and lacksadaisical i would say that i would get better with a partner around. Now on my own again and back to leaving the washing up, no motivation etc. So the job is open again. Any takers?.
ps how did your date go hanks?

I bet you if you, or the collective we, could put together a solid unique proposal, Match.com would read it. If you are serious, I would love to work on something like this. PM or post on here.
Sorry i'm late getting back to you. Yeah i'm sure there is a need for a niche dating site for fixeruppers who are truthful about their situation. Instead of all the BS of the usual profiles.

Best of luck tang, sorry it didn't work out in the end but at least this gives you confidence as an eligible male.

So this means youre both on the market again? You know, some unscrupulous american lady types might be interested just so they dont have to lag a season in watching Downton Abbey or Last Tango in Halifax or Vicious!

Mostly because 99% of the stuff is serious. Nothing wrong in the intent to make people laugh but you gotta keep in mind that people are always expecting support and advice on serious issues so it probably catches them off guard. To expect people to understand and know you're being humorous on a support forum here without making it explicitly obvious is not an err on the side of the community but yours.

I don't think it was hostile at all, besides considering your "I forgot I can't be whimisical ... people are SO serious" was kind of snarky anyway.

Just saying matter-of-fact that it's not anything that should annoy you that people interpret things as serious, but if you expect it, it won't bother you at all that it is what it is.

Not really judging your humorous post, nor you. Just making a point, please don't be offended

I didn't prove anything. your interpretation of my straight forward kind of behavior says something though.
