Hi I'm new here 21 with a 2 year old son who is my world. I have been dealing with my boyfriend for 6 years on and off who is my sons father. I will add before I go on I'm not sure how to use this site. But my boyfriend I feel has emotional problems shows emotion when he wants and when he doesn't want to just shuts it off. He leaves and comes back and hurts me a lot. He isn't much of a father he sees him and plays with him but doesn't understand that there's more to being a boyfriend and a father he's very immature I just need to help him or leave and why leave if I love him and my son obviously has to see him I would never take that away but I need help.

Hi, jf, and welcome to Psych Central! The first question that comes into my mind is how do you think you are going to help him?
Thanks for this!
