Hello and welcome to Psych Central! Does she really feel like you are just "something to put up with?" Well, I think the main thing is to try to stay as "normal" as you can by following your treatment program. As you can, try to be helpful around the house, cooperative, etc.

Hi Rollercoaster. I am thinking that your mom must be sad that you have depression and can have anxiety problems. Are you showing her any signs of change in your behavior. I sincerely doubt that she feels you are someone to put up with but if your working on your problems I am sure a show of change in your behavior would help!

thank you all for the advice. I'm really just lost on the subject. i try to be as "normal" as possible. she says she see's me doing better but she still literally says "thanks for putting up with her" to my friends and boyfriend. I just wish I could open her eyes
