I have become friends with my daughter's therapist (she is an adult, but she started seeing him as a teenager). I am helping him with a project and the problem is that I have developed a huge crush on him. I am trying not to be stupid and have kept all our contact--email, calls or meetings--to a standard where our spouses would not have any reason to be concerned. He has never done anything that would be inappropriate, either, so this is a problem in my head, not in anything that's happened between us.

I need suggestions on how to deal with this. I am literally telling myself before our meetings, "He is a good guy. If I say or do anything that hints at anything other than friendship, it can only have bad consequences for us both". I know I could stop helping him with the project, but it is work-related and I don't know who else could do it.

Your married ... he's married .. Maybe you need to see a Therapist on your own to figure out why you have a crush on him .
