What is one meant to feel after a breakup?
I just feel empty. And hurt. I know it was my fault, but it still hurts. What am I meant to feel? How am I meant to act? I feel like a shell that has had all the life ripped out. I don't want to see anyone, I don't want to hear anyone. I don't want to interact with anyone in any way. I want to sleep and do nothing, yet the more I try the less I sleep. I just don't know what to do. |

A breakup can trigger a wide variety of emotions. Grief, anger, guilt, emptiness, despair, relief, confusion, fear...

Breaking up is difficult. It will take time to get over it. You said it was your fault, well whether it was or not, maybe there is something for you to learn from the relationship and how it ended. Try to stay busy to keep your mind off of your broken heart.
