I had a wonderful relationship with a women who told me in the beginning we were friends with benefits. As time went by I fell deeply in love with her. Then she engineered a breakup. I am hurting terribly. Can't understand the whole thing. Desperate for answers.

"Friends with benefits",obviously you have already answered your own question. Just repeat don't repeat the same mistake again, if you can't afford to play the game. People are just cold these days. Stay strong & be well.

Friends With Benefits are just that...friends...they don't become anything else and they're not supposed to.

You fell in love with someone who may have intimacy issues. FWB's isn't for everyone. Hope time heals your wounds.
