most of the women in my family are as cold as ice.not caring,loving or accepting.just plain old mean with no heart.my mom is the worst of them all.i have seen my mom 10 days in the last 7 years and all those 10 days she was mean and nasty to me.i went to see her for Christmas.within about 3 hours she was her old nasty self.insulting my hair,weight etc.she acts fake some times around others.but as soon as like my step dad leaves the room she go's and insults everything about me.then after i get back from visiting her she sends me a copy of her new will and i get nothing.even though she was rude to me when i saw her last i did not argue with her.i was civilized to her.i was sick the whole time i was at her place and she got my cold.plus when i was not feeling well.she wanted to go to a movie.i told her and my step dad that they could go without me and i would just rest while they went to the movies.my step dad said he did not want to leave me alone and told my mom your daughter is sick.we can see the movie another time. my mom complained about not getting to see the movie the whole time i was there.she did not care that i was not feeling well etc.it's always about her.none of my siblings like her and she has no real friends

sounds like a family you are better off without. there is nothing that says you have to put up with this abuse, so why put yourself up with the misery of meeting with these people when all they do is harm you. it is best to cut ties and free yourself from this hurt once and for all. take care of yourself.

What would you like to happen? Very unpleasant to be around a nasty and insulting family member (who should be caring or accepting). Do you think that she will ever change? And she's left you out of her will (maybe talk to a lawyer about that).
