I am going insane, the more that I am here with my ex it hurts so much. I have phoned lifeline a few times and they help but the problem is never solved.
Ex came home today as he is an inpatient in a psych hospital. He printed out some papers that I saw so that him and his new partner (also a patient at same hospital) can go to this march today. It so hurts in the 15 years we were together he would never do this march with me and there he is doing it with his new partner. I can't take the hurt much more. I have applied to move out but they seem to be so selective I can't get anything. I am not coping |

Sorry that you are feeling such hurt. 15 years is a long time to have been together, so it's understandable that you feel hurt. Hopefully you can make plans about moving out, and look forward to that happening. That's great that you've phoned lifeline and that they have had some ideas for assisting. What are some of the ways that they've been helpful?

Yes, your hurt is understandable. But can I be honest ? I am so glad he is HER problem now... He doesn't sound like somebody you need right now.
I don't understand about why you can't move out? Why can't HE be kicked out...? Whatever it takes, do it. A doctors note saying this is not a healthy place for you, if this is public housing, that should do it (it does in my area). A notarized signed statement ft you (better yet, signed by both you and him) that you are no longer a couple might also help? ![]() ![]() |
