Why do men cheat or sleep around on their girlfriends? I've heard that it's because the man no longer feels appreciated. Then as soon as another woman shows some interest, they stray. But what if a man does it because he needs to be with multiple women? Or because cheating actually turns him on. Any thoughts?

All of those reasons you listed are possible, as are probably 1001 others.

My thoughts would be it doesn't matter. Men and women have their reasons for cheating and neither of them have reasons that are justified. Why ask why? It's never the partner's fault when the other person cheats period. A cheater cheats because they are deceitful and would rather live a life of lies than to fess up and be honest with their supposed loved one, or they want their cake and eat it too. There is never an excuse or reason to cheat simply because, if you want to be with other people, you should break it off with the one you are with. period.
Thanks for this!
