I cant drive, so I have to take the bus, and in my area the buses are so stupid and unreliable, they are always either 10 minutes late or a couple minutes earlier than wheen their supposed to go by my bus stop. Now I understand the being late because of traffic and all, but there is no reason why they should be earlier than the scheduled time. When they are a couple minutes early it makes me miss the bus. This has hapened many many tomes and although I have called the customer service number it seems to get me nowhere and they havent ever been able to answer my questions about why its early sometimes and then so late others. Today I was out at the bus stop 2 minutes earlier than the time it said in the book, and a bus that said not in service passed me and the actual bus never came. Wth?? So now Im thinking that was the actual bus they just didnt change the sign and passed me by for some reason.

The buses in my town work the same way. Before I got my license, I found it often took less time to walk than to get to the bus stop a half an hour early just to wait for a bus that was twenty minutes late. I'm sorry the bus service in your town is so bad

I can't help with the scheduling issues - I've been there, believe me. I used to be at my stop around 15 minutes early. That's not fun when you are in stifling heat or the temperatures are -20 C. However, I took my long waits, transfers and bus rides as a great opportunity for reading, music listening or just zoning out. They allowed me to centre myself and I miss having that time. It was definitely me time. It's a pain in the arse, but try to make the best of it.
