My boyfriend is often out on his business trips. So sometimes we talk on the phone and use social networks to chat. But somehow it seems dull and the relationship gets cold and it's not the same.
Is it sounds familiar to you? Then my experience might help someone.
The ipad app helped me out to express myself and to see my man from a new side. So i strongly recommend you to try BooDooArt.
This app is for drawing and painting together. Now we draw together in the evenings and chat within the app. There are many tasks and games for two. It's very exciting.
I learned a lot about how to interpret drawings from the BooDooArt's website and from their facebook. I figured out that one simple drawing can really tell a lot about person.
You begin to understand you soul mate better. Besides, when you are engaged in drawing together, it couples you even more. It's much better than skype.

Hi, Josie, and welcome to Psych Central! Sorry you didn't get a response earlier. Thanks so much for sharing your idea. It sounds like it could help such relationships have a better chance.

My husband and I were long distance for over a year...only seeing each other a total of 13 days that whole year. It was 1999 so there was no Skype or apps or anything. We made it through and have been married almost 14 years. It is possible to make it work. Cool idea!

Yeah I agree with all what you all have said...your words are very true and encouraging but the fact remains that good communication is extremely vital in any relationship because it matters a lot. A relationship void of good communication is like someone trapped in a desert. The person has no choice than to keep surving to find a way out from the desert and if finding a way out is not forthcoming the person finally dies due to loneliness or starves due to hunger. That's just my say on this..Cheers to you all
