I am used to being treated a certain way, and my current partner is too considerate and caring. I'm out of my comfort zone

Hi Illegal, on one hand I'd say enjoy it!!
Perhaps you haven't been treated the way you deserved to be treated before, so make the most of it, you've earned it!!!
But on the other hand, if it's starting to feel "suffocating" or "unnatural", "false" to you after what you're used to, maybe talk to your partner, explain things and ask them to give you just a little bit more "space" and maybe room to do a few more things for yourself???
Or then again, of course you can ask them for some more things you could do for them in return, so you feel that the balance is a little more even???
But regardless never let self esteem, self image, pride, independence, past experiences..............whatever get in the way of believing that you should be getting/you deserve real consideration and caring.
