Fascination with "ground zero" of my relationship

I have been married for 22 years to the one and only woman I was ever involved with. We began dating during my junior year in college.

I have always had the most strong memories of our first 15 months together before I graduated and entered the "real world". It seems that my memories of this time exceed that of all the years we have been together since.

Most of all, I am fascinated by the exact moment that the relationship "sparked", which I believe to be a second movie date based on memories and some notes I had written.

The day that we were married seems dull by comparison, and I have always considered that first date to be a more important anniversary then when we married.

Anyone else feel this way?

richard..i feel that way.......i have been married to a wonderful man for 34 years in june.......thinking back......our wedding was just a formality.....but the day we met...that was magic....i was 15...he was 17.......and it was love at first sight........we met because of a beatle concert we were both going to....that day....august 11, 1965 changed my life forever.......the day we wed, june 20, 1950, was just an affirmation of our love to the rest of the world.........
