Wondering, if a comeback for OP could be, stating doubt of wiki as credible. Or how to assert in a situation, where a person states, well I've read it, in wiki, it must be true. Addressing the offending speaker on spot, instead of building up resentment, or feeling hurt by another's behavior. As a means, of drawing the line on future behavior? I am sure, many can state coming accross this type behavior. Must be a diplomatic approach. Sdmn, you are a gamer, I would suspect you're likely to see arrogance in such hobbies, how do you, quelch it from being around you? Not quelch jovial smack talk, but the off putting behavior? If someone was to argue that wikipedia was right, I'd go "Really? But it can be edited by anyone, and sometimes people edit articles just to joke or mess with people. Can you find the same information in a more reputable site as well?" (I often start at wikipedia for basic, and then know what to look up elsewhere!)
